THE STAGE IS THE BOWL WHERE YOU EAT FROM -- By Lil' C (A Verbatim Transcription from SYTYCD)

We had so much fun with Lil'C's enlightened words last night on SYTYCD, that we wanted to treat our readers to a VERBATIM transcription of his comments to the 3 Super Hero Girls. Enjoy!:

"Im gonna commend Sonya first of all 4 bein' in charge of thee physical education curriculum @ Super Hero High 4 girls right now!
Th'ts where thee training comes in.
This was very interestin' 2 me bcuz when it comes down 2 thee wire 'nd u get 2 see choreography bein' done in unison u have 2 look @ thee synchronicity of thee routine, so u guys have 2 work cohesively--one of my favorites words--together, 2 bring thee collage of movement 2 life but @ thee same time u guys still have 2 shine. So u c'nt hold back on thee account of thee ppl th't u r dancing wit', th't u r sharing thee stage with bcuz u still gotta eat, because da stage is where it... the stage is your bowl. So u guys still gotta go 4 it, u know?
So I, so I pheel like all of u didn't really, didn't really go 4 the gusto right there. I pheel like u guys were bein' a bit too courteous durin' thee routine, but I thought it was...
We're down 2 thee top three girls... I need 2 see some bucccness, nd u've got this great choreography she's given u, u've gotta bring this to life. It needs 2 make all of u guys shine bcuz, like Sonya said, aesthetically u guys have thee same foundation, but u guys r different in the ways you guys utilize ur talents.
So tht's just what I want 2 see from u all but, excellent routine. I thought u danced it amazingly but I need more than amazing right now."

These Miamians think they can dance

South Florida, we did well! We got 4 out of the 20!
Four of the 20 contestants on the fifth season of Fox's So You Think You Can Dance are from Miami-Dade. We caught up with the Miami movers earlier this week between rehearsals in L.A.
Brandon Bryant, 19, was born and raised in Miami and started dancing at 10, after he saw a Britney Spears video and decided he wanted to be like the back-up dancers.
Inspiration: ``That you can express all your emotions through dance. When I'm having a bad day I can go dance it all out and I feel so much better.''
Most difficult moment: When his mother bought him women's pantyhose instead of men's ballet tights for class. ``You could see right through them. I was so embarrassed.''
Goal: ``To set lighting and design on my own company.''
Vitolio Jeune, 26, grew up in a Haitian orphanage and began dancing for money in the streets at 18. He eventually earned a scholarship and a spot in a Haitian troupe, then a scholarship to New World School of the Arts, from which he graduated this spring.
Inspiration: ``Dancing to me was a way to survive and to be accepted. Growing up I didn't have a family and dancing was a way for me to express myself, or to get a bit of attention.''
Most difficult moment: ``In Haiti it's hard for guys to dance. It's the typical thing; they associate you with homosexuality -- which is nothing wrong. But they can drive you crazy calling you names in the street.''
Goal: ``My dream is to become a choreographer and tour around the world. And I want to be part of some charitable event to help orphans because sometimes a little bit of help can make a big difference.''
Hialeah-raised Janette Manrara, 25, the first in her Cuban family to be born in the United States, was a child performer for Univision.
Inspiration: ``Life in general is an amazing inspiration. Dancing is a very good way for me to let out and show people what I'm feeling . . . to just let your soul go.''
Worst moment: Falling during a tango number in a competition several years ago. 'The two of us fell all over. I was like `Oh my god, I just fell flat on my face!' ''
Goal: ``I want to be able to pay my bills from dancing. Lots of dancers have to take second jobs. It'd be amazing to go to work knowing you're doing what you love and getting paid for it.''
Jeanine Mason, 18, says she's the wildest salsa dancer in her Cuban-American family, but she struggled to find a dance studio that would take her seriously.
Inspiration: 'These beautiful dancers who were 17 or 18, I wanted to be beautiful like them so bad. Now I get these amazing e-mails saying `I think you're amazing and beautiful' and my heart crushes.' I feel the obligation to be to those little girls what those women were for me.''
Worst moment: When she fell after a lift in a competition last year, ``I was light-headed and I tried to do a leap out of it and I belly-flopped. It was so painful. I opened my eyes and saw the floor and I was like, how did I get here?''
Goal: ``I've never had the best turns, the best legs, the best leaps, but I've always had this immense passion for performing. So my goal is to always be performing.''

Our Take on the Fame Remake

The truth is that a remake of Fame is already in the making, but Adam Shankman has not been linked to it (yet). Kevin Tencheron, whose just like twelve years old (27 actually) and famous for that piece of television art "Search for the Next Pussycat Doll," is the latest director attached to the project. MGM is the producing house. The movie has not been cast yet but auditions have been going around... I think our remake cast and director suggestions could promise a better outcome...

Let's hope, at least, that they take a hint and convince beautiful Debbie Allen to reenact her role as Lydia!
